Regulations and Measures: Compliance with Equal Treatment and Prevention of Harassment in Companies
All companies are required to implement measures to prevent sexual and gender-based harassment.
Since March 7, 2022, all companies, regardless of the number of workers that make up their workforce, are obliged to adopt measures aimed at avoiding any type of labor discrimination between men and women.
Therefore, they must develop a protocol that must be available for inspection, to leave traceability that from them:
– Measures are adopted to prevent harassment and procedures are established to prevent it and to channel complaints.
– Good behavior among workers is encouraged through training on awareness of harassment.

According to article 2 of Royal Decree 901/2020 “All companies included in article 1.2 of the Workers’ Statute, regardless of the number of workers on the payroll, in accordance with the provisions of article 45.1 and 48 of the Law Organic 3/2007, of March 22, are obliged to respect equal treatment and opportunities in the workplace and, for this purpose, they must adopt, after negotiation, measures aimed at avoiding any type of labor discrimination between women and men. , as well as promote working conditions that prevent sexual harassment and harassment based on sex and arbitrate specific procedures for its prevention and to channel complaints or claims that may be made by those who have been subjected to it.”
